Default High Octane Availability

Anyone know where I can buy high octane gas anywhere in the Davidson, Williamson, or Rutherford Co area? I need it for an old British bike.

The only place I can think of that's higher than 93 is the speedway. What kind does it need?

97 octane if available. Are you referring to the fairgrounds speedway or the one in Lebanon?

yeah.. that's a little ways out, but good to know... I do travel that direction every couple of months. Which station?
I called all around and searched online ... nobody seems to advertise it .

I don't see why there isn't a larger market for high performance fuel around here... there's no shortage of auto enthusiasts?

I'm finding through my online research that AVGAS (100LL) is actually the best thing for this old engine since it wasn't designed for unleaded fuel. And while that fuel is actually very easy to locate, all the government regulations make it difficult to obtain - unless of course, you own a plane.
