Default Hood

Alrighty guys as the body becomes complete I am left with the hood. My current hood is oem and has severe hail damage, so it has become useless. I have the option of buying another OEM hood 395.00 My Cost! Then paint it and clear it. Since actually finishing the car is the most important thing, I do not have 2G's to blow on a hood right now. So I am left with Seibon, which I guess is better than VIS. Trying to figure out what style to go with also is a PITA. Do any of you guys have personal experiance with Seibons products. I plan on ordering a quality dry carbon hood, but not at this moment.

I'd just get another stock one.

I really do not want to cut into a stock hood. As long as fitment is close, I can align and fit it when its put on. With 500+whp weight is not a factor so if its 1lbs heavier then so be it. What I really want is the increased airflow in and out of the engine bay. So MG style hood cleared with Alsa UV Clear if weave is ok. Paint it the color of the car if its not. It will cost the same.
