An interesting introduction...
Hey guys I'm new here to s2ki, even though i've been browsing these forums for awhile.
I recently bought a 2003 grand prix white s2k with 86,000 miles in great condition. It has a couple of mods including AP2 rear bumper, AP2 exhaust and clear corner headlights. The car has been a joy to drive for the last few weeks, but recently I ran into some trouble.
Last night as I was driving home from Chili's in Cool Springs I was involved in an accident. It was around 11:50 PM and I was traveling east on Baker's Bridge Road in the intersection at Galleria blvd. My light was flashing red so I came to a complete stop, looked both ways, and proceeded through the intersection (verified by witnesses). As I was nearing the opposite side of the intersection I was clipped in the rear passenger side wheel and bumper. My car pulled a complete 180 in the intersection.
The extent of the damage is not yet know. From what I can see the rear axle is bent, bumper is sheered off, and the exhaust is pretty badly damaged. I did not notice frame damage, but there could be some. We are not yet sure if the ins. co. will total the car.
If the car is not totaled, I would love some body shop advice, preferably one that will compromise on new after market parts rather than OEM. And a place that will do a great job.
Sorry for the long introduction. Arthur told me about these forums by the way.

Sorry to hear about your s2000
. I doubt it will be totaled. I really don't know of any body shops that do good work on s2000's either. Hope everything works out for the best. Try to come out to my meet on aug 9th. Arthur is coming just ask him about it.
Thank you very much for the welcome. Hopefully I can find a place that will work with me on parts.
Unfortunately I can't go to the meet because I will be at school. Hopefully I will be able to get with you guys when I'm on a break or something. =)
