start this day off right - I get an email from my boss about a teleconference that is tomorrow which is my unpaid day off. I replied with "I'm not going to be here tomorrow. ?" His reply was - will you be home? Can you do it from home? My response - "NOPE".

If I'm off - I'm off. I'm not working if I'm not getting paid - it's that simple. I'll switch everything around if I can have Friday off instead... but that won't happen as he won't give me the satisfaction of having a 3 day weekend.
