I figured that was probably it.
I've occasionally considered getting back into that. I used to build a lot of them, but I never had the patients to make a really nice one, and those decals used to drive me over the edge.

Once I got to the level of airbrushing and cutting small gauge wire for spark plug wires on my cars, I found out about girls and suddenly had not more time for models.

 

 

& when I met my wife i got back into it, go figure. alas s2ki kinda all but killed it, not having space to work isn't excactly helpful either.

it turns out the place went out of business - it was a chain & tended to be pricey anyways. there is another place, but I did not feel like venturing out there in the rain as it would be a long trip.
