I dunno, the water was scalding hot and then it never heated back up, like the thermostat went out or something. Then, I come home from Zombieland (which is badass BTW) and try to turn on the heat to bump up the house a degree or two and it clicks then nothing happens. I'm going to reset the water heater and try the heat again in an hour to see if went into a fail safe mode and reset itself.

Water heater is electric, heat is gas so it's two separate problems.

Well I think the water heater come back on after I reset the heating element. I bet the thermostat is still screwed up though and that's what caused the breaker to flip in the upper heating element.
