so bored....Doing a rough audio setup plan.

I've got most of the wiring already, Just need speaker wire. I've got a older fosgate amp that is pretty nice. I think its a 200x2 and I think I still have my 4x100. I dont plan on adding a sub, so I may use the 200x2 and make use of the power.

I need door speakers. Looking at a few right now, most seem to like the PPI 356cs speakers and they are some what cheap. Under 200 dollars.

Also, want to get an aftermarket cd player before I start this. Of course the DCI and Ipod connections will be needed.

So, A little ways to go, cause I need a top first so we will see.

^ Nice. Sounds like you got a nice plan. My goal this week is to learn how to solder and heat wrap my connections.

Its a rough plan, but its a start. I've actually got two wiring kits. I think they are both rosgate kits too. If I am doing this I am kinda wanting to do it right and get new RCA's since I'll be getting speaker wire. The Fosgate rca's are probably ok, but I do want pretty good sound. But, I am not a perfectionist when it comes to sound so. time will tell.

My audio setup in the S was quite awesome if I might say At least for being on a slim audio budget.

I had polk momo's in the doors and in the headrests. 10" sub in the trunk in a custom enclosure. Rockford 200x1 amp and a alpine 500x4. Also had a 9885 Alpine w/ ipod in armrest.

Thing was ridiculously loud even w/ the top down at hwy speeds.
