Well, once again....a car dealer has shocked me. When I thought it couldn't get any worse.
Found the car I wanted. Price was fine..I agreed to pay list price.
All I wanted was a decent # on my trade.....not even decent....I'd say I got 5-10 trade offers in the last 3 months on the GTI.
Of course....my expectation was...."hey as long as it's the same or higher than the lowest I got in the last month I'll take it"
Easy enough right?
Nope, they offered 2,500$ LESS!
It was also $4,000 less than my best offer

that surprises me too - you would think it being the end of the year these bastards would be trying to hit a quota or something
