That's why I told you from the beginning to get the 17x10's

A 10" wide wheel will generate more mechanical grip than a 9" wheel even with the same size tire. The extra weight advantage of the 9" does not compensate for the extra grip the 10" will provide.

You need to get the 17x10 +52 all around and go ahead and run 275/40 NT-01's all around That's the setup I'll probably go with eventually.

I think it looks better if you have the top on 100% of the time. HOWEVER - I don't think it's worth the risk of pulling the tape and having the paint underneath either shitty or not finished.

Once you pull it, you're screwed and will have to have a body shop paint it, if you're not happy w/ the paint quality.

 

The black trim around the windows goes well with the tape anyway. I say leave it on I think it looks better than pulling it even if you leave the top on all the time.
