First step would be taking the single wide garage door out and widening the garage and adding a double wide.

well, fixing the drive leading to the garage, has a dip I'm not sure my car would clear.

 

all of that is pretty easy.

 

what I don't get is why all those detached garages from that era were so tiny yet the cars were HUGE. I mean for an s2000 it is ideal, but I can't fathom a 55 Ford parked in it.

What I plan on doing is, digging down a little bit(its just the pea gravel and dirt under that) and leveling the ground, then using some pavers (if I can find the same ones the patio is made with, that would be great), to make the driveway. Shouldn't be to bad of a job.

pretty sure you need sand, i havent put pavers down in forever but we always leveled with sand.
