Chris Dornon wanted me to put stickers on my wheels pretty much since I've had them on my 05 (before it was supercharged). He spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to make the Volk Racing stickers. He prototyped a few and this last one looked great so he put the two stickers on my front wheel. It was going to stay in the garage for a while so I left it on and the other 3 blank. Well, I get back from the track last night and he said he already had them done. I knew I was going to have my alignment checked today so it kinda worked out great that he had them. I get home and attempt to put the rear set on, placement looks pretty good and even with the front wheel (that he put on and are like perfect) and I'll be danged if I'm not retarded enough that I can't smooth out the air bubbles out. I decided not to hack up the other 2 wheels, wasting stickers and hopefully beg him to put the other 2 wheels on for me. Right now you'd have to be walking all the way around my car to know the two sides are different. I'll have to admit, it does look pretty good with the stickers on there. LoL

what happened to the center caps?

 

There was no way to split them to powdercoat them the same color, I have them at home on the shelf. If someone would come off some flat ones that fit 18's, I'd take them apart and have them powdercoated.

 

What's wrong with them being the way they are? Your lugs aren't blue.

 

The centers were pretty ratty looking, I think it's because it got wet up underneath and they deteriorated... they were that way when I got them from you. I was told on another forum that those do that over time anyway but the water probably helped push them over the edge of breaking down quicker. I'd like to have used them otherwise! The mag blue wheels are typically paired with a flat cap though

I can taste a c6. But I either need to pay off the dd or sell it and get a beater then get a vette.


Either way I've got another year or so.
