But seriously, I don't understand that. Stupid Union workers, it's not like he was like me and stuck in the job.....he could've left if he wanted to. It's just if he chooses to leave, he gets no pay. If something "happens" to prevent work from being able to be done, he still gets paid....

Our Subs do a whole lot more and are good for so much more than just Sub to Sub encounters.... you know when we launched missiles into Libya.....yeah a lot of those missiles were from Navy Submarines...

It's not feasible to have planes fly that far... the cost would be much greater and the chances for US casualties increases drastically. We park off the coast, launch a few missiles, and sail away.... the planes are vulnerable on their way in and on their way out...a much greater chance of having an issue.
