Posted this on FB but thought I'd throw it in here too, just in case. Hopefully no one has Progressive and has this particular problem. They never sent out a new policy when they put this in affect. Glad I just bought Rob's lil Del Slow and saw it while trying to add it to my insurance online:

Just had a nice talk with my auto Insurance company, Progressive, which had some disturbing underwriting news to lay on me. Apparently, if you have lowering springs or any other modified suspension on your vehicle besides: up to a 4 inch lift kit, hydraulics or air bags... THEY CAN DENY A CLAIM IF YOU'RE IN AN ACCIDENT! Luckily I never had a wreck in my Silver S2k! Since I do plan on modifying in the very near future; Looks like I have to find another insurance company. For anyone else that may have them and will be modifying their cars in that area OR already have, please reconsider or find another alternative!

Everyone has issues with just about every insurance company, they've done me right in the 11 years I've had them. I'd keep 'em if this didn't exist in their underwriting.
