Got some work done to the bike....

Installed new clutch cable adjuster, new oil tank (old one had crack at the top), installed chain guard, kickstand, all new plastics I picked up locally for dirt cheap, straightened out the muffler and repainted it (it was bent up into the fender and melting it), and I reupholstered the seat which had some tears in it.

Just gotta get a new bolt in the kick starter and then do some minor paint work to the motor/frame. Debating on spraying the wheels too. The front wheel is still nice and shiny, but the rear wheel has seen better days. We'll see how it cleans up though. />

When I got it....

How it sits now....

So, is having it in the Kitchen helping with the garage build idea?

Meh, a Garage will come eventually. I keep the bike in the spare room usually.

Wow, that 80 looks awesome now. Love projects like that.

Matt - the engine bay looks great. I'll give that stuff a crack today.

I would just make sure you clean the bay really really good. Its the sucky part of the job, but it is so worth it once done. My hands are all dried out from the APC. Use gloves if you can...

I'm going to keep it around for awhile. Get some enjoyment out of it. But ultimately I'll probably end up selling it or trading it up for something even better. It was just too good of a deal to pass up especially since I got a fishing rod and reel in the deal as well. I've barely had any time (or money) into this and it already looks a million times better.
