ha, its been 2 months now. But, yesterday we got a doc we needed(atleast what we were told we needed). So, The embassy BETTER accept it. We were scheduled on Monday for a meeting to send file to Rome(head quarters for the department), which would add another 4-12 weeks.

But, if embassy accepts this letter, we should be leaving in 7-10 days or so

DANGIT!

Even with the doc we have been waiting 3 weeks for, we still are having file sent to Rome(Headquarters) for review. Its either a yes or no at this point, but can take anywhere from 1-6 months. They hopefully will get in a week and have 1 month to view, and start investigation....I may be coming home soon, while Rachel stays here

You would think a streamlined process would have been in place by now. Unless this is the streamlined process.

Changes happen all the time, so nothing is streamlined.

Like for TB testing, you do that at about the 80% complete range. But if the kid has TB and has to be treated, its a 6-9 month process....makes zero sense.

Trying to determine if I am staying here or heading home. The room we are in now is about 350 a week, plus food, plus drivers when we need to go some place...plus our bills and mortgage back home.

Ive got business happening(got one listed on Thursday of last week and its undercontract now), so its not really a money issue, but its a, if I dont meet people now, I wont be making money down the road..

Fun drive in this morning. Absolutely no real snow on the roads up north of town, but when I got to the cool springs area...

So far so good. no issues. After digging into it, it was surprisingly simple.
