Sorry to hear about the back problems. I have them from time to time myself. Keep stretching once you heel up. And just my personal experience, but when I'm hurting the best thing for me is to just lay down until the pain goes away. Last time it got real bad the doctor sent me to physical therapy and that crazy woman almost killed me.

I did the lay down thing all day yesterday - although I work for a small company and have known my boss since the early 80's - there is still a tense feeling in the air anytime I miss work due to "illness" basically I had better be in the E.R. or close to it - so here's GIMPY!!! I gets my hobble-on.

I hurt my back once a number of years ago. It was the oddest thing. I had woke up one morning and bent over to reach under the bathroom sink. I twisted as I leaned forward and felt a pop. The next thing I knew I was laying on the floor of the bathroom in pain.

Really an odd experience, I've hurt myself plenty of times but never felt something so debilitating occur from such a simple maneuver. I feel for you guys with back problems. It's hard to really understand something like that until you have experienced it.

Then again if you were my employee I'd probably be like: "QQ... Get your ass into work pusseh."

You need to get yourself some good pain pills! If you were closer, I'd hook you up with some sizz-urup.

Jason,

That is exactly how it happens - I have never done anything that one would think would bring on such an injury - I did this at work just getting up out of my chair - I ate lunch with Russell and by then my back was already tightening up - my boss is hardcore, but I trace it to how he was raised and being a football player, etc. Whereas, yeah, I'm a puss. I admit it, but I just don't perform well when I don't feel well. So I try to lay out whenever possible - like yesterday. I have never missed work due to my back until yesterday...

Ouch...... Get your cane out, beat them over the head with it and tell them to get back to work.
