I'm serious - it would cost me twice as much to get a new even cheaper! iphone. The waiting will have to continue.

I'm going to wait it out until they either go Verizon eventually or if they never go then I'll never get an iPhone. The new blackberry should be interesting.

 

Verizon is teh ghey. I hate how they lock down every standard phone they sell w. their shitty GUI.

Blackberry should be nice but Verizon rapes you on the BB plans.

I will agree though, it's a lose lose for everyone. lol.

 

I love my Verizon service though and have no reason to switch.

 

I'm amazed to see the gen 1 iphone still selling for close to $500 and over on eBay!

Couple more notes....

As I've expected they're raising the price of the data from 20$ to 30$ (this is what I've been paying for 3g data).

Anyone who bought an iPhone after May 27 will be given a free 3g iphone.

ATT will also allow you to upgrade your phone to the new 3g no matter where you are in your contract.
