Chatt wants 3k more on each model. I just can't swing it - too poor to pretend to be rich @ the moment.

Alex, you should consider a STI.

under 30k OTD for a sweet car. AWD & Boost.

It's tough for me to consider a bmw too, they're just overpriced imo...not to say that I don't love them. They're just like Sony - great stuff but more $.

Anyway - One of the main motivators in me selling the S was how much I could get for it.....I understand where Rob is coming from but, as long as you're putting yourself in a situation where payments are equal or less than what you're at now there's no changes.

I have no payments & I can't swing one right now apparently. I would not get a sedan - I like that G37 you had, but like the 3 series - it is just too big a car - that's why I that 135i so much - it would be like rockin' my old e46 m3, but new & under warranty FTW.

1 series is only 150 lbs lighter, and way less space. The G37 is about the same size as the 3 series. I agree with Pete though, an STI, EVOX or even a New Z would fit the bill.

The changes that I am watching right now are employment!! I am beginning to feel like the economy truely is getting horrible right now. If economic trends continue, we could see many more companies laying people off. The ripple effect has actually got me worried. So I guess I am suggesting that holding off on any major purchases might be a good idea for the next couple months or even a year.
