RFT's bubbled on the sidewall and then the HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) started dying yesterday. It was a recall for 07 models but the 08's are having the same problem. I threw a check engine light and wasn't getting full power from the car. Took it in to BMW today, they are keeping it for a day or two, probably to get the fuel pump in. I basically had to be a dick to get a loaner vehicle too, since they scheduled my service appt for a time that the Service Advisor wasn't even there, great planning. At least they said they wound fault codes for the fuel pressure and are taking care of it.

I got an X3.... not very impressed by it. Then again I don't like SUV's either.

 

 

The Mini's cooling fan decided to run all the time today, key off included. Killed the battery

Mini roadside towed it to the ATL.. The service writer seemed to indicate it may be something they have seen before.
