Exige/Elise is definitely ftw. I wanted one, but they are still a bit too much, so i saved some $$ and got another S. Also not having a dealer here sucks.

I wish Lotus went with a Honda K series motor for the Elise/Exige tho. 300whp all motor in that chassis would be saweeeet.

yeah again 25k - me likey, but still getting it worked on, etc? Just not practical - can't rely on Chris & Jake to turn the screws for me on that car

It's just a celica motor... wouldn't be hard to work on. They are like legos. I would rather have the K series. Ideally it would be sweet to find one with a blown motor and do the K swap.

Word. I tried to get one in December, they were selling them for that price new and Subby was offering 0% financing on all 08 Impreza's even Sti's. None of the dealers here wanted to play though. There were several within a reasonable driving distance but none of them wanted to give me anything for my Fit. Even though they were still selling Fit's for 1k to 1.5k over MSRP they only wanted to offer 12k. If I could have gotten rid of the Fit, I'd be in one right now. As it is I'll keep the Fit for now and if they offer 0% on 09's I may try again. I'd even take a regular WRX as the 09's are making something like 40hp over the 08's. Giving the Sti's a run for their money and even being cheaper.

You should jump on it though.
