last car wasn't seasoned. just cursed.
He says that if I find anything wrong with it, his dad's lot will buy it back. I said if I can get that in writing, I'll consider it a little more.
and there's no engine rebuild, it was clogged injectors.
it might be worth a road trip to check out to build a really nice car with the rest of the insurance money (close to 9 grand to play with) and my surviving aftermarket. I'm not worried about resale value down the road (I say this now, and I understand it might change, but I'm not forseeing it as of now), so me swapping in my motor doesn't really matter to me. I just have to think about it.
it's significantly cheaper than the del sol...

it's not really that bad as long as the injectors were really the issue there, which sounds fairly legit considering the mileage. I doubt anything else would've been noted by "the honda place" seeing as most dealers are idiots when it comes to this car, but that's what my eyes are for.
(high mileage, yes, but my 25k motor will be going in)
It will NEED: blank rotors (some slotted 2-piece rotors on there now), tires, fluids change all around (to be safe), and really that's it. I'm alright with working on the car a little to get it up to par.
I figure if I can get it for even less than his lowest offer ($7500), it could be a decent deal.
It's all up in the air now though.
for those that don't know, or haven't seent it, this is my alternative:

very very tempting...
The stereo gear that was in the trunk has been yanked, and there are NOOOO decent pics of the trunk..
It used to be Silverstone. Who knows how many owners it's had since Dewain sold it to get the NSX.

At $7700, even with a engine rebuild, that's still pretty cheap. I wouldn't advise against it, but know what your getting into. You already have 2 engines.
that guy isn't telling you something. I'd stick with plan A that we discussed
