Hey anyone know who does good Valentine one wired installations? I'm going to get one and want it to look professional.
I did my own and I can probably talk you through it. Guess I could take pics also. Only wire you can see is under the passanger visor where it plugs into the V1. Luckly it uses a phone cord so you can go to wal mart and get a black one.

It's all custom, Wade. A particle board box glued together to a shelf with 3/4" slits cut into it for the sound to come out the top - it isn't ported or anything. When you open my trunk it is flat. You can see where the vents are (as time as passed) due to the carpet sagging in a little...
Yeah. It really sounds like an airspace issue. You could try one of the new JL flat subs, but it's $$$$. I think the sub is about $650 for a 13". It's a little power hungry too. Optimal RMS is @400 watts.

I know I'm not using that much power on my sub...

Thanks guys for the info, I don't have it yet, but I'll prob feel more confident when I see how everything fits together. Using the cig lighter won't be an option cause of where it is.

The best advice is just to enjoy what you have. You can chase your tail forever in car audio. It's best to build it right from the start and even then it's not a recipe for happiness. My new car is staying stock, at least for a while.

you can always put one in the footwell on the passenger side... Brad NVMY4N did a few of those mods - I bet Russel Spa_Ap1 could do it too...

I'll take some pictures of mine the PM and I have the DIY saved on an excel spreadsheet at home I can post up. I did it in like an hour or so.

I need to send my V! back and get it upgraded to POP. Popo here are getting ticket happy.

I've got a shitload of woven fiberglass if you need some and want to DIY. I travel to much to have a sub in the S (even though I have 2 Image Dynamics IDQ12s sitting in my closest if I ever get happy).

Did have some Aura bass shakers for a while. I liked those, but it just made it hard to adjust my seat properly for auto-x so I took them out.
