come on, I know most of that article was tongue in cheek, but that guy sounds like an enormous drama queen (note his membership to the crocs haters club, I mean really, what man really gives a shit about what other people wear-enough to the point the join a group to discuss it let alone write an essay on it?) a lot of what he said could be applied to any forum/message board...anyone who spends a little time learning the facebook system knows how to set it up to group friends and filter what news you really want to read/know and what you want to let known. might as well ditch email and the whole interwebz while you're at it
