Hi yall over there in Smoky Mountain, me and the wife are doing a fly drive and will pass thru Smokey Nat park in first week of January. Does any one know of a good homely cosy place to stay that is resonably priced in the park area? Any suggestions appreciated.

 

what type of place are you thinking about, and what price range?

 

Not sure of prices. I guess 80-110 per night, small homely place with friendly folks, home cooking, relaxed atmosphere. I know its going to be very quiet at this time of year, but thats okay we will do new year in New Orleans so relaxing time will be good.

 

January is the least expensive time of year to stay in the area. It's a tourist area but January will be dead.

Hidden mountain resorts is nice but I don't know about pricing.
