Plans for July 4th?
Hi all,
I know I'm new and don't really have a reputation yet, but I wanted to see what everyone's plan was for July 4th? I'm going to be at my house throwing a party with LOTS of fireworks. Before the Navy I worked as an apprentice at a commercial fireworks factory so I make 4" mortar shells as a hobby.
Thus, I will have a large arsenal on the 4th. I was thinking (after getting to know some of you) of hosting a meet/get together/BBQ that evening if any of you are interested???? We could possibly have a drive earlier in the day as well. My father in law has a huge yard and we can pretty much do anything since his backyard borders a field. If I were to host people, I'd ask you to bring something to grill and some drinks. I know it's a little ways off but I LOVE the 4th, and I think it'd be a great opportunity.

Sounds like it could be a good time.
I'm not sure whats going on for myself and the +1 at this time. Last year we had vip access at the wildhorse
Will be hard to beat for downtowners. Up on the third story, not surrounded by hundreds of people and we had AC.
Anyways, I'll keep an eye out.

I go to the lake every year down here, we tie the houseboats together and watch the fireworks over the water. If I wasn't doing that, this sounds like an awesome idea!! I hope everyone has fun if it goes through

Just let me know guys and y'all are welcome to come. Either way I'm going to be here grilling and blowing stuff up. It's just whether or not you choose to show your faces. lol. I just figured it'd be a good day for a drive and night for some fun! lol hopefully some of you can make it!!

I just need to know how far of a drive it is from Chattanooga.
