Oh, and bad news in the case about the lady backing into me, I went to the cop station today and got the accident report, here is a quote from it: "Mrs. Bencho was not aware that she had struck another vehicle and she witnessed no damage to the rear bumper of her vehicle." So with her driving away from the scene since we really didnt know she had actually hit me, I have a feeling Im about to get screwed and it sorta sucks. Im going to the station tomorrow to talk to the officer and we'll see where this goes.

Yea, I did have a witness riding with me. But the thing is, neither of us felt the impact, but I KNOW that it wasn't there before hand. Im just worried it will be my word vs. hers, and the cop will err on the side of the old sweet lady. Oh well, such is life.

Yea, tell me about it. The damage is VERY VERY VERY minimal. I know I can buff off the scuff marks, but the paint is "spider-webbed" underneat the scuff marks, and I know that has to be sanded down, primered, and re-painted. And if I know anything about body work, you really cant spot paint just one section and blend it perfectly. A competent body shop would likely re-paint the front bumper, or at least that half, and that will run in the 300-500 price range easily. I dont want to claim it on my insurance because my deductible is either 200 or 500.00, so Id be forking that money out of pocket if she does not cooperate, and truth be told, I cannot afford that AT ALL right now. Life goes on, but I just wish sometimes people would own up to their mistakes.

D'oh. Then what in the world are witnesses for? Granted I know they're bound to side with the involved party they're friends with, but still. I guess being honest and owning up to your actions has flown out the window. And post pics of your pup already! Oh, another thing Robin, I have a set of diffusers coming in the mail to me, for 15.00, it aint bad.

I PM'ed Rob about his - he replaced his headlights with the newer style so he doesn't have lenses like ours anymore. Let me borrow one to play with when you get them - I just want to put some black tape on one to see how restrictive my idea would be.

) I give you Tinkerbella.
Enjoy her Robin, cant wait to see her!
