Gave the Wife's SUV some love today...
Wash - Wax - Rain-x - vacuum - back-to-black on all the trim - etc..
I think it looks good for 80,000+ miles.
03 Ford Escape XLT - The truck that keeps the miles off my car.

Very Nice! Looks new to me!
BTW, the car started tonight! Still haven't went to get battery. It takes about 2 turns before it will turn over (errr errr fire) but I started it about 4 or 5 times in a row with a little idle inbetween. Think it will get better or should I play it safe and get a new battery. If I thought it would last a couple more weeks I'd order the battery I want instead of getting one local.

My buddy from Camp Lejeune with his Nissan Silvia and my buddy from Louisianna with his 550+hp RX-7 wanted to come up here to run the Dragon next month. I'm worried about both of them getting on there. The Silvia is set up for drifting and driven by a novice and the RX-7 has too much HP for that kind of road. I've never even been there myself. I think the group should go sometime in the future.
Yea. I'm pretty poky on the road. I usually gas into a turn and out and then just quickly get to the next turn. No over the top stuff. I just like getting into the turn thats about it. I don't want to risk the S at all. Yea, you better warn the newbies its not to show off, and no drifting at all. Save it for the track.

Sounds like things in your electrical system are improving. But to charge the battery fast idle it. That is, rev the engine above 2000 RPM. The alternator must have turns to charge the battery. It is possible that the battery is too old, or the alternator.
(Where is the Voltage Regulator? In the Alternator????)
