Since this is post whore I need to vent, been awhile,

First the AC went out in the house. It took a week to find both the problems.

During this time I had to rig the AC to work while we had company for the Bristol race.

We (I) had to drive everyone to the race and boy it stinks driving a bunch of loud drunk people around.

On the way home the truck starts acting up. Blowing water vapor out the exhaust, then gets hot, runs normal, gets hot, blows back diesel smoke, then no power to pull itself up the driveway to the shop.

Put 300 miles on the S (nice feeling)

Find out EGR valve (2nd one I replaced), EGR Cooler, and Oil Cooler are all broken on the truck. By the way stay away from 03- 05 6.0L Powerstrokes. Still no word on the head gasket.

Today AC broken in the house again!

Truck has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks now. Can't wait till Toyota or Honda bring diesel to the US.

And I am leaving town again!

Only good thing is, the S has be come a daily driver and stress reliever

In this weather no AC claims the highest degree of suckage IMO.
Hottest dryest one we've had and I've lived here since the middle 60's.
Hope you've finished the gauntlet of current bad karma Shaun.

I've really missed the bad summer thunderstorms! :-( Nothing like watching it rain sideways and watching trees bend.
