Default Property Survey

So, I need to have my property surveyed. I am looking into a new fence and shed. I have no idea where my paperwork went when I bought the house.

Any suggestions on someone to call to come out and map it out ? Costs too ?

you might be able to contact the people you bought your house through, i had to have get some stuff for taxes this year (1st year being a home owner) and already misplaced some documents. I called them and they faxed me over some stuff. They can probably also get you intouch with someone to survey it.

Well your home is fairly new. Unlike around here where the property lines are "the old double forked oak tree" and the "Rock that lies to the East of the Old oak tree" etc

So I would say look up the PVA Offices phone number. or go to you're Co. Courthouse.......well that's where all the old Plat/surveys are.

Like I said your home is fairly new (what 5years) so you should have to have a survey done.

I use Huddleston-Steele Engineering out of Murfreesboro. Cost will depend on the size of the lot. Just had a septic survey done for $350.00, so I would guess between that and $500 for anything under 1 acre.
