Default Quote on body kit install

I live in KY and thinking about purchasing the AMS Widebody Kit. Can anyone give me a quote on how much it would cost for installation + paint? I'm willing to travel.

2000-2009 Honda S2000 Duraflex AMS Widebody Kit:
AMS Widebody Front bumper (106023)

AMS Widebody Rear bumper (106025)

AMS Widebody Sideskirts (106024)

AMS Widebody Front fenders (106026)

AMS Widebody Rear fender flares (106027)

Hard to say without seeing the quality of the kit and how many hours it will take to make it fit perfectly. Unless you have a huge budget for your car i would forget this particular kit. It will cost you a good $5000 or more to have it painted and installed. It may be less but you get what you pay for when it comes to body work and paint. Good luck!! How much does this kit cost?

Kit is ~$1800.... just looking for someone local who would be able to install it. $5000 is way too much though...

Yeah $5000 would be to make it show car ready. Even to paint it and make it look really good youre looking at the least $2000.

I was wondering if you ever got your wide body kit installed. If so did you encounter any major problems?

Bodykits, no matter how good they look are usually a nightmare to fit properly, and don't really hold up well.

I have this kit on mine. ED's quality sucks. takes a lot of work to make it look good. my install and paint along with wheels and tires to fit it properly was almost 11k. my body shop guy told me that this was the crappiest kit he's ever seen and he's been doing this for about 30 years. took a lot of work to get it right. as for endurance, its holding up well to be 5 years old. but I will tell you it is a lot of work also to keep it nice. durajunk doesn't take kindly to rocks! i'm happy with mine even tho its starting to show its age(cracks). the kit does not come with hardware or support brackets. you definitely need brackets to support it or it will come apart at speeds. if you want to see mine go to the s2000 gallery. good luck with your decision. hope this shed some light on the choice you make.
