Yep, It caught fire.

Pulled into his drive and there was smoke, then fire, couldnt put out. Done and done.

yeah there is, I talked to Hal the day it happened and I have seen the pictures. His engine caught fire, fire department came, put the fire out, it burnt up the from the firewall forward, from the firewall back was not damaged. Someone apparently broke into the car though and took all his interior the day the towtruck was supposed to come and they didn't. Here are some of the pics.

 

I wonder if the shortblock is still good. if the engine is good Ill give ya some money for it.

best of luck to you Hal. on the topic of getting broken into, we all need to watch out. that is the 5th s2k to get broken into in the murfreesboro area in about a month. the other four were at dealerships, 3 at reddell honda and 1 at murfressboro mitsubishi. so please everyone try to park in places that have good night lighting and keep an eye your baby.
