just got some bad news.......... I just got word that I will be away on business through the SESM weekend. Previously I had been told that I would be back by the 8th and was going to head down early Sat morning, but im not the one making all the decisions

First, can we hear a roll call of those that are planning on attending? im interested to see who is going. Second, those that are going please take lots of pictures for us that cant make it. It will also be great motivation for those that have never been to an event to sign up for future SESM shows and upcoming DBR.

Barring the unforseen, I'm going, heading down after work Friday.

 

Im going - heading over Friday night after work from Maryville.

I will be bringing my new Canon XTi - so should get lots of shots.

 

I'm heading down on that Friday, my brother was supposed to come with me, but he's been in a coma since May 11th due to a motorcycle accident. I thought about not coming because of that, but my girlfriend said she would come down with me.

 

i read about that on the SESM board........sry to hear about your brother. Hope he gets better soon.

 

im gonna bump this thread cause i need some help......

I bought a shirt for SESM but i wont be able to make it to the event. Would someone that is going be willing to pick it up for me and bring it to our next local meet? Everything is already paid for and the volunteer gets a beer on me.

Same here... It turns out I'm not going to be able to make it either and am needing someone to pick-up my 2 t-shirts that cost me $90. I've been too sick to works on my car. I think I have a wrist pin that's messed up. I was going to put it back together and just take it to Honda since I'm too sick to work on it, but I'm too sick to put it together. On the plus side, if it is the wrist pin I'm upgrading the rods and pistons and since I'm doing that, there's a high performance head on E-bay I think I'm gonna buy too. yippy more mods. If I build all motor I may just not even get my turbo.

 

Wow, no one local is going to be able to make it. Wonder why. June a bad month for a car event? (I'm not going either.)
