Default Soft top relacement cost

I am now officially going to get my top replaced due to a tear. Does anyone know how much it would cost to go through Honda getting the replacement top, and having the Honda tech's put it in. My dad wants me to do it through them and I'm just curious about how much it will cost. If it's really high I might just spend the extra money to get a hard top.

You'll end up pay a TON. I know slows2k here has done tons of them, shoot him a PM. A HT would be cheaper IMO.

HT FTMFW.

but pete's right, through honda, it'll be a LOAD. wayyyyy too much IMHO. I know it's a PITA to do, but they do call them stealerships for a reason.

man, I wonder how many acronyms I can shove into this w/o really realizing it...

Figure about 1400$ for a OEM top, rivets and straps, and labor.

Tops online has tops for really cheap. I have a few holes in mine, so I'm interested as well.

Here's a couple links.

https://www.topsonline.com//index.php?Depar...rmodelID=747000

It's $450 for a new top from these guys, but is not OEM

http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/product.ph...1&cat=11&page=1

And $775 from Jeff at Hardtopguy.com

With possible 2 grand in labor, I would almost do this myself. There's got to be a DIY somewhere around here.
