what's up with these people is that they own the car b/c it's "cute" and they themselves think they're "cute", so what better for a "cute" 50 year old real estate agent or bank teller than a "cute" sports car. but they totally miss the whole concept of sports cars in general, so they drive them like camry's and fuk em up.
but whatever, it happens, not everyone is as insane as we are when it comes to us and our cars.

Good points, Arthur...although I did pass a couple of ladies in their 50's in a Sebring AP1 when I was living in Knoxville that returned a wave with enthusiam and great big smiles...I don't think they explored the VTEC realm of the car, however.
every once in a while, you will get someone enthused to have their car and recognize someone else with one, and it's cool, even if it is just that they're happy about their midlife crisis.
but more often than not, they see a teenager driving a loud modified one, they're less enthused. but it's to be expected, and I don't really care.
I don't own my car for them.
all of these points are obviously not applicable as blanket theory, but it is for sure the case in some instances.
