Yep! I picked up the CR wednesday night and I am picking up the 08 Odessey touring this morning. It replaces our 05 Odessey Touring which has been a great road trip and family car. They let me know that the dealership received pricing on the Mugen so it should be here within a couple of weeks. I think the Mugen is a great value, however, not cheap. If you add up all the component prices of the Mugen parts, you're saving almost $3K and you get a perfect Honda paint job on everything. I'm betting it may also be colectible one of these says. I seriously considered turning GT Motors loose on my SI sedan to make it a type R, that was going to be close to $ 30K plus the inital cost of my SI. $ 30K for 6 hp and a poser type R didn't make sense so I decided on the Mugen.

As each generation gets ready to retire, they want something from their youth so the prices for cars from their youth go through the roof. Ie: prewar cars for WWII generation and muscle cars for my generation. When I was a kid, I owned a 69 Z28 ($3K new), a 73 Z28 ($3.5K new) and a High Wing Daytona Roadrunner ($ 4K new). If I had just set these cars back, I could have retired very comfortably now given today's prices. I am banking on the fact that you guys will want a piece of your youth when you get ready to retire so I am buying cars that I think will appreciate and setting them back for my sons. I don't know much about the stock market, but I do know about cars and real estate so that is what I am investing in. Did you ever try to drive a stock certificate?? Not much fun . .

I drive the SI sedan as a daily driver and my wife drives the SI coupe as hers. I really love my Honda products and I think if we support them with the CR and the Mugen, maybe someday we will get a real type R or domething really cool like a V-10 600 HP midengined NSX. I can't wait!!! I look forward to meeting you guys once we're down there.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Who would have thought those older cars from the 70's in stock form would sell for so much at Barrett Jackson. I think its crazy to see how much those things go for.

There is no doubt that the newest generation of the Civic is a great car. I think Honda dropped the ball on the 01-05 and got back on track with this newest generation.

I want a RHD so bad. Just a matter of time. If I was confident I would buy a front clip and do everything.

I just want a J's racing hat
