I was in south Austin at a friend's house when we thought we heard his neighbors, slamming doors, and thought maybe they were in a fight? It didn't take long for us to figure out that it was hail, varying in size from dimes to golf balls, hitting the metal roof of his house! I just stood in the door, watched it happen, and tried not to FREAK because my car (the Protege5) was sitting in the street fully exposed to the hail.

We went out and looked when the storm was over and couldn't see any damage by flashlight, but it was dark and the car was wet, so who knows? I'll update you guys later when I can go out and look at it in the daylight...

The silver lining: had it had the aluminum hood of the S2000, I'd definitely be screwed...

 

A friend of mine had 3 cars damaged:
BMW 323
Audi A4 wagon
Toyota RAV4

He isn't too happy today...

I'm just glad all my cars (except the beater Integra) are in the garage! Sorry to hear that! Hope all is okay...

 

I live south and we didn't get any hail even do my baby sleep in the garage.

Whole body is damaged on mine. Sucks.

 

No apparent damage to mine (Howard/Metric area).

Update: 4 dents in the hood, multiple dents in the roof, none horrible but none making me happy either. Several paint chips missing out of the hatch.

Will be making a trip to the PDR place this week to see what they can do!
