Hey Everyone, Been here about 6 months and I got my S2K back in june. I just got a new engine put in and wouldn't mind "breaking it in" a little. Anyone in the Austin area want to go for a drive sometime? I don't know many good roads in the area so maybe someone can show me...

Its tought getting a ride with them even.....ive tried many times and mostly only guests show up....pm me and il get something together with you im always driving....actually thurs im planning on doing some crusing with a friend let me know if you wanna go

 

Matt, be patient...plenty of drives w/ good participation have and will continue to happen. We've been doing this now for over 6 years, and many of us have busy lives plus other competing hobbies (motorcycles for me in particular). Add to that higher gas prices, which probably have some driving fewer discretionary miles.

We have a Christmas party drive that's always well attended and fun. I'm trying to be off next week, and could perhaps do a drive M-W.

Not many of us are into just cruising around town, as you've suggested. If I'm driving w/ a group, I want to get out of town and away from traffic/police!
