Well decided to use some PlastiDip and paint my S2000 emblems as well as my stock H badges....lovin the new look...









Will get some pics of a farther view with the painted H badges....

Looks great.. first thing i did with the S was paint the H's black.. bought mine used, it was missing the s2000 badges.

 

Very nice!!! Anyone have any experience with Rick's S badges! I'm thinking about doing them on front, back, wheels and steering wheel.

When peeling off the coating from the painted surface how did you keep it from coming off the the emblems also?

 

Also interested! This will leave no damage or marks will it?

 

Only damage I've ever seen this stuff do was on some guys g37. He painted his WHOLE car with it... Got lazy with peeling it off.. Started to use a high powered pressure washer and in the process destroyed his paint job.
I've seen it on rims,hoods.. Etc. 6months plus and when the peeled it off, squeaky clean. It's all in how you prep (wash) your car prior to putting it on.

 

It will not peel off the emblems since they are not really flush with the fenders/bumpers. I had no problems except for in the little spots. I just used a toothpick to start pulling off the paint and once it grabbed, I just rolled the toothpick to pull it off easy. Here a pic of the car from a distance with the honda emblems painted as well..

Not bad but I'm curious though... you masked off a box a painted in it. How did you get the black paint off of the fender?
