Default Clutch Replacement

Guys,

I'm out of warranty, and have not had great experiences with Howdy Honda's service department and have heard a few bad things about first texas honda in terms of clutch replacements. Does anyone have the name of a local shop (since out of warranty, doesn't need to be a dealer) that either specializes in transmissions, or in general people have a lot of faith in for doing a clutch replacement? Thanks in advance.

Nick

If you have a place to work on it I strongly suggest this as a project to do yourself. It is very do-able. I had one small problem with mine and that turned out to be manufacturer error. don't use clutchnet products for the S2000 With a buddy this is a one day job( first time) easy. I'm in the process of writing a wallkthrough with pics (gotta find the time to get to it) Not sure if you have shopped around already, but it's going to cost you close to a grand. With that you can buy the parts and tools and have some left over.

Good Luck.

If you can make it to SA I could do it at my shop (Bracken Automotive). I have done several S2000 clutches and am familiar with the process. If this is not a project you want to tackle give me a call. My cell is (210) 710-3160.
