Can anyone recommend a good body shop in Austin? I need to take a used car in to check it out and make sure that it has never been in a bad accident.

I had good luck with classic collision in round rock. Others will recommend Jeff's, but I have no experience with them.

 

Do you have a phone number for them? I could not find them in the yellow pages. Do you also have a number for Jeff's?

Classic collision is the collision dept. for classic honda. I don't have a number for Jeff's.

 

IF you don't go to Jeff's you're stupid...don't consider anyone else...they are the best

 

What an absolute load of crap. I've heard that Jeff's does an excellent job, but I've also heard that the down-time is absurd. I just said that I had excellent experience with a different shop. I guess I'm stupid.

 

I've heard of some pretty bad experiences at Classic. It's been a few years, but they were bad enough I would never go there. I'm glad you had a good experience with them. The only bad thing I've ever heard or experienced with Jeff's is the time it sometime takes for them to get the work done. Their work is excellent.

 

I decided to take the car to Continental Collision. They are a Honda certified Body Shop. I am just taking the car there to have it checked out as it is a used car that I am buying. They are going to put it up on a rack and take measurements to make sure the frame is straight and that it has never been in an accident.
