I would love to find out how to, so if you get someone to help you let me know, I may come out and learn how. I'm wanting to drop the S40 about an inch.

I can help too but we might need to rent a spring compressor or something. I'll have to look at the How-To threads in the Under The Hood forum.

you dont need a spring compressor.

its really simple to do. Just make sure you preload the springs..

Don't you preload them with the spring compressor or are you referring to pushing down on the car with the new springs and then tightening everything down?

Yes, you DO need a spring compressor to get the stock springs off... Are you going to replace shocks at the same time?

I am 3/4 of the way done with replacing the ENTIRE suspension (all upper and lower arms, balljoints, shocks, sway bar, etc, etc) on an '00 S2000 that I just picked up on Friday. It's really not hard work. I do have a spring compressor, as well.
