Impressed!
Just had to share this:
Because I've heard so much about delays through the post office this year, I sent all of my Christmas presents with FedEx Ground. The prices were surprisingly realistic; seven packages, the lightest at 4 lbs ($5.48), the heaviest at 11 lbs ($8.18), cost me $44 to ship. Cheaper than USPS Priority, who I used to send one package (to an overseas military destination, U.S. address though) and they cost $6.50 for a 4 lb package! I didn't expect miracles in terms of delivery times from Fed Ex Ground; in fact, I didn't expect most of them to arrive until after Christmas. I sent them all out on Monday.
Much to my surprise, all but the most distant one are on trucks to be delivered TODAY! While I would have thought this possible for the packages bound to larger cities, the ones headed to the smaller, more remote towns are due for delivery today as well.
Go FedEx! I think I'm a customer for life now!
