Interest in S2K Days '02????
I will definitely be making the trip, and I hope some of you guys will join me!
It will be on June 20-23....4 action packed, fun filled days with members of our club from all over the country. It will be one big party!
Randy and I made the trip to Laguna Seca in less than two days and we bummed around in Casinos in Arizona, restaurants in Hollywood and fun side-roads on the way to San Francisco. Coming home took more than two days.... but we did lots of fun stuff on the way.
The trip will definitely be worth it! I hope we have some Central Texas guys / gals (besides me) attending. It is going to be a blast! I will be posting about a convoy soon and inquiring as to what kind of trip everyone would like to make: (1) balls to the wall - get there and get home, or (2) go to Hwy 1, Hollywood, grand canyon, etc. etc. wherever you clowns might want to go.
Maybe we will have two convoys: one doing the option 1, and another doing option 2. We'll see. Right now, I would just like to get a rough idea of who is coming from our region.
The trip will be easier if each car has two drivers... we can work that out later.... but I will be offering my passenger seat at a later date to someone who is just interested in attending the event and not concerned about driving on the track.

If my S2000 is here by then, you can count me in. If for some reason it's not here, then I'm not sure if I'll want to make the trip or not. The dealer said that it should be here before June so I should be good. Looking forward to it!

I might be interested in meeting up with you guys in Monterey....
I am driving up to Vancouver in EARLY June, around the 9th or so (and will be heading back a week r two after I get there. If I can get the fiancee ready to hit the road by the 18th-19th (may not happen), then I'll be there on the 20th to check it out. I'd have to go 'balls to the walls' to get back home after that, though. I don't think I'll be able to swing more than 3 weeks off of work this summer.
