As staited in another post, people were making comments about going to Iron Rock Raceway. Im planning on going Aug 11th after work. If anybody from SA or AUS want to go the more the merrier. Once I know who all is going from SA we can figure out where to meet up and drive up there. Last time we were there we got 3 10 min sesions for 40 bucks. Which wasn't bad except that we had to work in with the members doing some lapping practice.

I'll have to wait until next month sometime. I'll be happy to join you guys on the track most anytime after my injury is healed enough to kart again.

Hey guys, Im gona have to push this back 2 weeks till Aug 11th. I found out today that my Fiancee is coming into town on thurs night. I would bring her with me except that she wouldn't find it as fun as some of us. Sorry about this. Plus this gives some more people time to come.

What kind of karts are these? Just wondering.

 

9 hp 4-Stroke Honda/Birel Endurance Chassis, rear brake, centrifugal clutch. Top speed around 55 mph on a long enough straight. IRR calls this setup the "Rock Kart".

Sorry I'll have to miss the 11th. I'm traveling to Mineral Wells for the AutoX on the morning of the 12th.
