I got my exhaust installed.......and clear bra on the headlights along with a nice buffer job.

i put about 75 miles on my car so far today, it sounds and feels alot better! Believe it or not but the weight i shaved off from my entire exhaust helped i think.

Im not getting into a argument with you, PERIOD. You can go and purchase your own testpipe at

http://www.2nrparts.com/store/product_info...roducts_id=1449

Its only 62 bucks for ALL the stuff you need, so you can stop harassing me over 16 dollars savings.

Lol..why you are taking this so personal? you had told me already you had an extra one coming in and I would have dibs ....then you started to have trouble with your car and so you said it wasnt going to be available for some reason. (which i didnt understand why) and then once you got ur car fixed you dont want to discuss it.

I am not trying to save money...I am talking about the test pipe you bought with all the hardware......I told you i would buy it what you paid for! how is that saving me money?

oh yeah...you told me all this at hooters......but its cool...i was just trying to get that extra test pipe off your hands....

Congrats. If I were to get a duel it would be the Invidia. Weight savings, gain and I love the tips that are angled out. What do you think of the sound so far?

Why do i take it personal? Because the way your talking to me "good for you" "but its cool" the way you word your sentances is rude. I thought i told you, my mistake, but it turned out that the guy didnt send me bolts, and i had trouble with him, not my car. He only shipped half my exhaust, and i had to threaten him to get the rest. And then he didnt ship the test pipe or any gaskets.

I love the sound, and with the test pipe and custom mid pipe (stock s2k mid pipe with resonator) It literally sounds like a ninja 6r at WOT. I have thus far taken all this

1. Radiator plastic and garbage, carbon fiber in place.
2. Spare tire
3. Catalytic Converter and heatshield
4. Stock muffler and midpipe back.

I probably am around 100+ Pounds lighter than a stock s2000, not to mention i gained slight power with the K n N filter, and exhaust. The sounds is big but for me, the lighter car, and more response you get when you take it to WOT is just amazing.

I raced a evo 9 (not mr) with catback exhaust at 48 mph roll. I dropped it into 2nd and we ran up to about 110. Im slowly but surely getting faster, he didnt put nearly as big a gape as he did before. I think the way to go with the s2k is weight reduction, for sure!

hahahaha.....

so by saying " good for you" ...you take in a way thats rude....wow...chill out...lol...

i was keeping things short by saying good for you getting it all worked out...thats what i meant to say but next time i know to write it all out

oh yeah...your weight savings for an invidia to a stock exhaust is not going to make you faster nor emptying out plastic radiator stuff and putting a cf radiator panel....and well the spare only wieghs at most 15-20 pounds...so I seriously doubt you have got that much quicker....trust me i know bc i have had the invidia for a long time now and i havent had my spare for awhile...

the invidia does make it sound faster and vtec is more noticable but its just the feel of better throttle response for your car that is all.

And for the gain in power for your k&N....well thats a good start to replace your stock air filter but honestly...its about whp not hp that people show with dyno numbers. What I am saying is that our cars are not going to as quick as we want it to be unless we go forced inducted....realistically. Sounds like you have done quite a bit of things to free up some air flow which is good...cant wait to hear it...

oh yeah and if im sounding to rude to you...im sorry...dont mean to offend you but I am just letting you the facts about an s2k with my experience...thats all...

I've driven an S2000 with all of the Comptech in/out mods on it (Comptech CAI, exhaust, etc) and although it sounded pretty good, it wasn't that much faster. You're really not going to gain all that much on an S2k other than making the car a bit more obnoxious to yourself on the highway and more obnoxious to others due to the lack of a cat.

I used to drive a really loud car (also without a cat) regularly on the streets. It was fun when I was younger, but that car actually had the power (supercharged) and light weight (<2,000lbs) to back up its noise... Now I just think it's rediculous when I see one like that on the road. Since then I matured and now mine's strictly a track car that doesn't see public roads unless I'm moving it from my driveway onto my car trailer when I park in front of the house. The ability to still play with it, not pay insurance or registration fees on it any more, and not have to worry about being illegal by not having a cat (that car still doesn't have one) were all nice things that came from that decision. Get a daily driver and go all-out if you really want to make the S2000 fast...Otherwise spend your money learning how to drive it and get the most out of it. I would bet large sums of money that you aren't anywhere close to the car's abilities.
