I go at least once a week, sometimes more, since I live right near the beginning of the fun (620 & Anderson Mill).

We usually make use of that stretch of road on any group drives that cover northern parts of Austin.

Edit: Chris: When did you get a Cayman S? We must get some time to go flogging this car down said road.

Yes, you might see a white with tan on occasion on Lime Creek when it isn't full of trucks and slow poke drivers.

I've never seen a group drive organized around LC - it's too short, and doing so would be asking for trouble. Keep your eyes open for drives that go through LC en route to further destinations, though (esp. over @ S2KCA, which is where most of the Austin locals call our virtual home). When I hit LC, I don't call anybody, since it's spur of the moment and reduces the risk for trouble w/ just one car.

Funny you should mention the WRX. I just picked up the Saab badged wagon version and it appears to be faster than my S on roads like Lime Creek, especially bumpy ones. I can't say its as much fun because the thing just stays planted, but it is far more stable with the AWD. Absolutely Without Drama. The S is still my favorite kart.

The latest freeze weather in Austin, I am sure, was a good testing opportunity for the AWD.

AWD doesn't really help you stop, though.... Ice is not something to play around in.
