Default March 20th San Antonio get-together...

Just trying to get a feel for what you guys want to do on the get-together on the 20th....

There are three basic options.....

1) Short 30-45 minute drive, backyard BBQ, play pool, video games, videos, etc....

2) Mid-length ~3 hour drive out to the hillcountry, lunch (Lost Maples Cafe in Utopia), and drive back.

3) Long-length ~5-6 hour drive through the hillcountry, will stop for lunch either in Bandera or Utopia, and drive back.

Let me know what you guys want to do....

If you guys want to go for a little bit longer of a drive as opposed to the BBQ idea, then I personally vote for #2.... Option #3 will be an all-day affair, but will be a lot of fun.... I just don't think it's a good idea to get completely worn out on Saturday since a lot of us will be going to the AutoX on Sunday.

Man...the 3 hour drive sounds nice, but then we don't get to play video games or pool...

Well, if we get back early enough and if anybody wants to, we can still play pool later in the afternoon after we get back.

The last time I went through the "Devil's Backbone" was back when I had an E36 M3 and was doing in excess of 135mph through parts of it :-)

Oh, and it'll be hard to make it a 2-hour drive because I ALWAYS have hit 337 between Vanderpool and Leakey if I'm already out that way.

Cannot wait! Sounds like fun! I got the 20th off, so hopefully the weather cooperates with us!

Rain or shine, we'll meet. If the weather is really crappy, we'll figure something else out instead of a long slippery drive. There are lots of other things we can do.

Also, we will be meeting around the corner of Bandera Rd & Loop 1604 on the NW side of San Antonio. I'll give details this week as I find out exactly where (depending on whether or not we are meeting at Henry's office or not).

Cool...if the weather is good, I will be there. Put the Neuspeed's on last night, just dropped her off at Honda for clutch replacement (warranty).

Wednesday morning, I am going to put the C/F hood on, and see how it looks with the stock wheels.

Hope to see you guys on the 20th.
