Just to alert you about using proper numbering for the Open Track MSR event. Magnetics don't work well, they will fall off either by speed of when they start to harden.

I use one-time stick-on numbers. With a half-way decent wax job and some Maquires Quick-Detailer sprayed on and wiped off, they peel off after the event. Quic and easy.

I've got a place I've been using for years - Compu Signs @ 9595 Burnet. 512-835-7446. Proprietor is Ray. Great guy, always a perfect job and right on time - in fact even though I'd had a half years supply of numbers and haven't been in their since approx Feb, he remembers my name and the order details - didn't even have to look it up in his system!

You can get a variety of numbers and styles... I use 12.6" red lettering, straight up-and-down for the hood, and left and right slants for the doors.

And, one day turnaround at this point in the week so far.

They cost $4.75/number. Very reasonable. Basically, you need numbers on each side of the car. I also add them to the hood, but they aren't required.

Chris, I just called and placed my order and he said it would be ready to pick up tomorrow. I didn't have to go into the store to place the order. I just got the numbers for the doors since that's what is required and I didn't see any reason to spend another $10. Thanks for the tip, Jeff.
