I just replaced mine probably 2 years and less than 10k miles ago, and it's making that same #@%ing noise again. I end up driving my daily driver 99% of the time because it is so irritating.

Ive been checking it out and this seems to be a plague that honda never fixed, some ppl have them go the life of the car and some ppl have boxes full of dead ones. Im pretty sure i need a new one myself.

I haven't had this problem, but read an article in Honda Tuning. Skunk 2 makes a replacement chain tensioner, supposed to be a lot stronger than stock.

pretty sure that they only make it for the K-series thus far
