next autocross??
I am planning to go to it. If the weather is on it's butt, I may not go. I was originally planning to leave my house at 7:30am and figured that would be a good meeting place for everybody since I'm RIGHT on 1604 in the north-central part of town.
I thought about not going so that I can have a day to actually rest (I have been on the go non-stop since my vacation from Jan 1-10, and now have been busy non-stop at work since I got back -- plus school starting back up.. I'm just glad that will be over really soon), but figured I needed some seat time since I haven't been out to an event in a while.

Nope, never been to that site before. I just went to the College Station practice event last weekend, but the lines were pretty long since you had to go back and pick up any cones you knocked over yourself after your run. I don't know if I'll go back to any of their regular events or not -- that 2.5 hour drive is a bit long after a long day of racing and being out in the sun and heat.
I didn't do very many, really... I didn't feel like waiting in line that long back to back. If you get there earlier, you get more runs in their practice events.
Also, they had a smaller "slalom" test track set up that was not timed... That one was pretty fun, too.

i'm glad i didn't go now...but i am getting the itch....need to find one soon before my rear tires are completely bald again
those yoko's es 100's dont last much longer than the S02's.....I've got around 9k miles and it looks like my rears got MAYBE a few more thousand before they're shot

Hmm, that's interesting about the tire wear. You also do a lot of highway driving too, right? How does the grip differ between the ES100's and the S-02's? The only advantage the ES100's seem to have then is the cheaper price, assuming the grip is comparable.
